      Dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, promoting information skills as the heart of academic success, citizenship and lifelong learning. We develop, organize, provide access to and preserve materials to meet the needs of present and future generations of students and scholars.


      The mission of CEP Technical Library is to provide effective and integrated IT based Digital Library Services and support for teaching, learning, research and administration with ‘LibQUAL’ services by efficient faculty librarians across the Technical Colleges under the guidelines of AICTE, New Delhi.

      The college is having a full-fledged library. It has a good collection of books to cater the needs of students and staff of the college. Adequate number of periodicals and technical journals are also available in the library. A separate reference section is arranged for the students. Library system is fully computerized. It has a wide collection of CDs and DVDs also. A subscription of E-journals under the AICTE sponsored scheme, which facilitates access to about 250 international journals, is under processing. Broadband Internet facility is also available in the Library.There is sufficient number of books, periodicals, CD/DVD, Floppy etc. for the Library. Books are issued to students regularly and the Library is open between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m on all working days.


  • Books Borrowing: PG Students are eligible to take 4 books. UG Students are eligible to take 3 books.

  • Books Reservation: Users can reserve a book, which is already lent out. Reserved books are kept in the counter for 3 days. The reservation lapses automatically after 3 days.

  • Digital Center and Internet Facility: Library's 'Digital Centre' is having a good collection of CDs/ DVDs. Users can scan and refer information available in CD's/DVDs. Also, e-journals access facility provided.

  • SC/ST Books Bank Facility: For the benefit of SC/ST students, 'Books Bank' facility is available in the Library. Eligible student will get 3 books for one semester period.

  • Reference and Referral Service: The Library staff is providing Reference and Referral Service to Students and Faculty.

  • Reprographic Facility: Users can take Xerox copies of Reading material available in the library from library's 'Photocopier' for nominal charges

  • Digital library service: Digital library service is also available with DSpace software installed.

  • The library has adopted Open Access System. Documents are classified as per International Classification System 'Dewey Decimal Classification'.
  • "KOHA with RFID” software is installed in the library's Computers and used for Library Management. Bar-coding labels are pasted to all books in the library. 'Digital Borrower's Cards' are issued to all Staff and Students.
